Regular viewers and clients will know that my rucksack is the most popluar design with customers, and at a recent show, this was no exception, below is an email I received from a customer who ordered one as a gift. My leather belts with a unique steel flask as part of the buckle have always provided many a comment - not least that the flask was too small (its a buckle - how big do you want it?)! BUT, I have a positive comment from Joel......
"Some weeks ago I bought a belt from you in Rickmansworth with a hip flask built into the buckle. It was a present for my best friend who lives in the USA and he called me over Christmas to say how wonderful he thought it was - he thought it a truly unique and fabulous thing. He's been proudly showing it off and knowing him using for exactly its intended purpose !! So thank you. I always like to pass on positive comments" "Just a note to say that I received the rucksack today. Most impressed – ordered on Sunday and arrived on Thursday – what a service. I’m really pleased with the rucksack and I’m sure that my friend will be delighted to receive it for her birthday – it isn’t ‘til August so I’ll have to wait to see her response!" I had a request for a baccy pouch, this was the client's response when I posted it to them... "Thank you so very much for the baccy pouch. We are really pleased with it. Ordered on Sunday, made and delivered by Thursday, what great service. We know where to come if we ever need any leather work done. thanks from two very happy customers, Lin and Steve xx" Another customer texted me, "Hi Silke, the bag arrived today and is gorgeous! Lots of admiring glances at work and the green and purple is a fantastic combination! Thank you so much" Sometimes a text message is as simple as... " they're on the car!" (This was some specific leather straps that were required) - another happy customer! Unfortunately sometimes its not that straight forward and repairs need to be completed .... "Thank you so much for fixing the bag so promptly.
